Truck Show 2022 at Owls Head Transport Museum

Fans of vintage trucks, tractors, commercial and military vehicles won’t want to miss this long-running popular event where we celebrate the biggest and toughest trucks to hit the road!
Visit OHTM on Saturday July 16e and Sunday July 17e from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a list of exciting activities ranging from a showcase of vintage military vehicles to blind-spot demonstrations and a synchronized honking of all the assembled trucks!
On Saturday and Sunday, the museum grounds will come alive with historical demonstrations, exhibitor car displays, interactive exhibits and more! Attendees can enjoy vintage car rides, food and drink at the museum’s Hungry Pilot Café, or shade indoors as they explore the collection of classic automobiles and vintage aircraft from OHTM.
Featured vehicles to be featured include OHTM’s 1946 Sterling Dump Truck, 1942 WWII Ford GPW Jeep, 1952 Korean War Jeep M38, 1972 Autocar D7 and 1910 Buick Truck And firefighting enthusiasts won’t want to miss the 1926 American LaFrance ladder truck that was converted from a Model T.
Saturday’s highlight will be special guest and children’s book author and illustrator, Chris Van Dusen. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Van Dusen will read and sign copies of his latest book, Big Truck Small Island.
Also on Saturday, free ice cream will be provided by Darling’s Collision Center’s “Ice Cream for a Cause” truck. Those attending the event with young children won’t want to miss the OHTM Kids Zone, which offers interactive learning experiences inside the museum on Saturday and Sunday.
An impressive range of historic biplanes will also be on display and will fly throughout the weekend (weather permitting)! Visitors will even have the chance to walk along the flight line to get a closer look at their favorite planes.
