TEO: TELL US WHAT JAZZ FEST IS AND WHY IT COMES TO THE SACRAMENTO AREA EVERY YEAR. N:RO WE STARTED ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO. AND WE ARE VERY AWARE OF THE YACHT CLUB, BECAUSE MY WIFE AND I HAVE SERVED THERE FOR 1 YEAR, AND WE HAVE RAISED APPROXIMATELY $200,000 THROUGH THE FOUNDATION. IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SETTING BY THE RIVER WITH THE BOATS. AND THEY HAVE AN OUTDOOR STAGE AND INDOOR ROOM SO WE HAD THE IDEA TO GET SOME B LOCALAN AND HAVE MUSIC FROM 10:00 AM IN THE MORNING UNTIL 8:00 PM AT NIGHT. THE YACHT CLUB WORKS WITH. U THEY COOK ETH FOOD, THE BAR IS OPEN AND THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE. IT’S A GREAT DAY IN A MAGNIFICENT SETTING. BRAN:DI WE KNOW YOU STARTED THE EVENT AS AAY W TO TEACH JAZZ AND THE IMPORTANCE OF JAZZ. THIS WAS NOT JUST AN EVENT TO RAISE MONEY AND MAKE PEOPLE LEAVE. THERE IS A REAL MEANING BEHIND WHY YOU STARTED IT. RON: WE HAVE A FOUNDATION SUPPORTED YOHUT GROUP. AND WE HAVE A VARIETY OF MUSIC FOR IT. WE ALSO HAVE COUNTRY, ROCK, BLUES, JAZZ — AND IT’S A FULL DAY OF ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF MUSIC AND EVERYBODY IS HAVING A GOOD TIME. CHEA BAND HAAS SET INSIDE AND ONE OUT. TEO: TELL US ABOUT THE PERFORMERS ON THE PROGRAM. RON: WE HAVE AN 80’S ROCK BAND CALLED GRINDSTONE, EW HAVE A QUARTET THAT PLAYS A BIT OF EVERYTHING. WE HAVE THE MILLER BAND, COUNTRY MUSIC. THE COUNTY FAIR IS BACK AFTER THE COVID CLUROSES AND WILL FEATURES CATTLE JUDGING, CARNIVAL, EXHIBITIONS, LIVE MICUS AND PLENTY OF FO.OD IT HAPPENS FROM 12 PM TO 9 PM TODAY. 10:00 a.m. TUESDAY UNTIL 9:00 p.m. TOMORROW AND GENERAL SUNDAY.
