Milwaukee Bucks championship bobbleheads unveiled at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukeeans haven’t forgotten that the Milwaukee Bucks still have the Larry O’Brien Trophy and are still the current NBA champions.

If you’re looking to add to your Bucks collectibles, Bucks Championship bobbleheads are now available for purchase.

Each player has one, holding a replica of the trophy, and there’s also a bobblehead of Giannis holding the MVP trophy.

“Everyone has that replica trophy. Nice and shiny,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame Museum.

This is great news for the Bobblehead National Hall of Fame Museum in Milwaukee.

“Living the championship, watching some games and watching the parade that was a few blocks from the museum,” Sklar said. “It’s exciting for the city, for the state.”

This is the first time a Wisconsin sports team has won a championship since the museum opened in 2019. The championship team in each sport earns a spot on the museum’s championship shelf, and for the first time , the Milwaukee Bucks are there.

“Hopefully some players can stop by and check their bobbleheads,” Sklar said.

Fans wasted no time stopping by to see the new additions to the museum.

Randy Quigley was in town from New Hampshire.

“I’m a basketball fan and I think they captured it well,” Quigley said.

His favorite comes as no surprise – it’s the MVP himself, Giannis.

“He’s one of the most popular players, not just locally but in the country, in the world right now,” Sklar said. “We ship Giannis figurines to Greece.”

Each bobblehead has “2021” on the bottom to show it’s an original. The cost is $45. Sklar said oftentimes getting them at cost pays off, and they become valuable and worth much more down the line.
