During your travels, you will face a host of tricky decisions in your quest to uncover the mystery of the galaxy.
Trigon: space history is a single-player roguelike game with a strong focus on strategy. Immerse yourself in a gripping story-driven campaign that sees you command your own starship and decide what kind of captain you want to be: a ruthless barbarian, an adventurous fortune hunter, or the hero the galaxy desperately needs.
In Trigon: space history, you’ll have a devastating arsenal of up to 100 different weapons, including lasers, turrets, plasma cannons, space bombs, and combat drones. You can pause the game at any time so you don’t lose sight of things in the heat of the moment.
But it’s up to you to make the right tactical decisions and capitalize on the skills of your crew, because death is permanent! Only by experimenting with various strategies will you be able to master the difficult combat situations that you have to face as a captain.
Choose from a wide selection of starships: will you start your journey in a classic human spacecraft, an energy-efficient Etari model, a biomechanical Rakkhi ship or a high-tech Taertikon ship? As a captain, you are responsible for upgrading weapon systems and onboard technology. You can use all the resources you get to strengthen your ship’s armament.
Russian indie developer Sernur.Tech has teamed up with Gameforge to release Trigon: space history, which will be released in 2022.
This latest partnership is the first step in Gameforge’s exploration of opportunities to provide support for exciting new indie projects around the world.
“At Gameforge, we are first and foremost gamers. This is how it all started for us with OGame nearly 20 years ago. Often we come across some really fun indie titles worth taking a closer look at, and Trigon: space history has been exactly that for us from the start,” said Noemi Feller, VP of Product at Gameforge. “We hope Trine will be the first of many other efforts partnering with smaller studios with cool content and products whose stories should definitely be heard.
“Me and Taras are farmers and occasional entrepreneurs. We have our goat farm and goat milk products factory in Russia. It’s a family business and we’ve been doing it for ten years. But as often happens, kids don’t always want to follow in their parents’ footsteps, and we’re no exception. We have always played video games and dreamed of making our own game one day.
Trigon: history of space, Where OHS, first started as a pet project among friends. Inspired by mad success FTL, the team decided to create their own version of the formula and take things to the next level. After three months of development, Sernur.Tech co-founder Kirill Koltsov and his friends went all-in and formed a game studio. With the help of an industry consultant, they founded a company, assembled a prototype, and headed to the DevGamm 2019 exhibition in Minsk. Player reception has been overwhelmingly positive, and the studio has managed to gain new contacts, expand its workforce, and dive headfirst into preparing for the game and its release.
“In May 2019, we decided to aim for the stars. What game do we want to play? FTL, but with a captain and free exploration of the galaxy,” Koltsov said. “Starting with just five people on board, we made a successful alpha that got us tons of player feedback and was listed over 50,000 times on Steam alone. ‘expand, we’ve secured an office, and have entered into discussions with several publishers. Gameforge appreciates our project and understands how our indie studio works, so we’ve decided to partner with them as we continue to recruit and develop and that we are preparing to take new players on our journey to space.
In the meantime, interested fans can check out a playable Trigon: space history demo on To smoke.
