Remembrance Day Ceremony
The Memorial Day 2022 ceremony will take place from 11 a.m. to noon on May 30 at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial, here, and will include wreath presentations by numerous organizations.
The ceremony is a remembrance of those who lost their lives serving in the United States Armed Forces.
The welcome will be presented by Major General Clark Martin, USAF (Retired), Chairman of the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation. The ceremony will include a color guard assignment, the singing of the national anthem by Sandra Ward and an invocation by Chaplain Marc Crabtree of Rolling Thunder. The keynote will be delivered by fourth-grade student Vincent Lorenzo de Barnegat, who recently honored veterans at a ceremony in March in his hometown. The scholarships will be presented by Gerry Appel to Bridget Lim and Matthew Thorn.

The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial honors all who served our country and state during the Vietnam War, especially the 1,562 men and 1 woman from New Jersey who did not return home. The Memorial is open 24/7.
The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which was built in 1995, is located here at 1 Memorial Lane. The Vietnam Era Museum and Education Center is located next to the memorial. Call 732-335-0033 for more information.
Roadworks planned off the PNC Arts Center
HOLMDEL, NJ – The NJ Turnpike Authority will be performing roadwork on the access road to the PNC Arts Center off Crawford’s Corner Road from Monday, May 23 through Wednesday, May 25, according to police.
Drivers are advised to plan an alternative route as the road may be closed to traffic.
