Noland House: Across from the Truman House is the Noland House, where President Truman’s aunt, uncle, and cousins ​​lived. It is open to visitors on the same schedule as the Truman House. Dial 816-254-9929.

Chicago and Alton Depot: 1108 SW Walnut, Blue Springs. This 1923 depot is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for military or senior citizens, $1 for children 6 and 12, and free for children under 6. Call 816-876-5369.

Dillingham-Lewis House Museum: 101 SW 15th St., Blue Springs, 816-224-8979. This house, built in 1906, is the headquarters of the Blue Springs Historical Society. The house is open Thursday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

1879 Chicago and Alton Depot: 318 W. Pacific Ave., Independence. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free entry. The two-story depot contains several rooms restored to the image of the building in the late 1800s. For more information, call 816-325-7955.
