AYANEO Next 2022 Handheld Gaming PC and Steam Deck could launch at similar times

The Steam Deck isn’t the only game in town if you’re looking for a place to play PC titles in portable capacity. In addition to Valve’s offering, there is also the AYANEO Next.

The Next is configured to be available in three different configurations: the basic Next, the Next Advance and the Next Pro. The models will share a number of commonalities between their versions, including a 7-inch, 1280 x 800 IPS LCD display, an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor, and an AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics card. Where they differ is in the RAM, storage and color options.

The Next Pro will have 32 GB of RAM compared to the 16 GB of the basic Advance and Next. And the Next’s 1TB of storage will be eclipsed by the 2TB of the other two models.

As can be seen on the AYANEO website, the models are advertised as handling two hours of battery life while playing Grand Theft Auto V, four hours for Hollow Knight and six for Celeste.
